When there is a disaster people tend to come together. We open our hearts and extend our prayers to complete strangers. Some of us actually go and lend a hand. No one remains unaffected during a time of crisis, even safe and innocent children.

We have been keeping up with the aftermath of the recent string of hurricanes to hit the US and the Caribbean. We didn't try to keep the images from our son, but we didn't intentionally show him either. He helped us when we packed boxes of relief packages for the victims and has been praying for them. All the time he was coming up with a plan of his own. 

 

My sweet five year old has asked me to make a shirt to "Help all the hurricane people." He wanted to do something to raise money for them. How could I possibly say no to such a request? 

 

We will be donating a portion of the proceeds from this shirt to the Mustang Nazarene missions team fund. We are happy to support this group because we know the money will be spent wisely and that it will all go to people in need. 

 

"...and a little child shall lead them."
